All the Blackstar pedals operate on 300VDC anode supply voltage (H.T. voltage). This is the typical anode voltage used in traditional valve amplifier design. The circuit has headroom associated with a true valve design and will 'clean up' accordingly. The pedal will exhibit the compression and distortion characteristics associated with a true valve design. At this type of voltage the circuit will operate consistently over a full batch of valves.
