R???DELink represents the next generation of digital wireless systems. Using a series II 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption, it is able to constantly monitor and hop between frequencies to maintain the strongest possible signal level at a range of up to 100 metres* (over 100 yards). The R???DELink Filmmaker Kit provides everything you need to start shooting video wirelessly, including a receiver, transmitter and broadcast-grade lavalier microphone. The receiver (RX-CAM) features an OLED display with information on level, battery status (receiver and transmitter), mute and channel selection. The unit can be mounted on a standard camera shoe mount, 3/8" thread or belt-clip, and for added versatility the shoe mount can be located in one of two positions. The lightweight transmitter (TX-BELT) can be fitted to a belt or clothing and features a locking thread to ensure the microphone connection is as secure as possible. R???DE???s omnidirectional Lavalier microphone is included in the kit to provide the highest possible audio reproduction quality.

Rode Video and Studio Microphones at Derringers Music

Rode Microphones are Australia's leading manufacturer of studio microphones. Their microphones and products range from the home studio to the high end professional studios. They also venture in to location and video audio recording devices amongst other uses.

The Rode NT1 is one of the most highly regarded value for money budget microphones in the world! You get it for the same price as chinese made microphones, but with the quality control and Australian made attention to detail that Rode are so famous for. Most budget microphones attempt to colour the sound to the point that you can no longer hear that the microphone is not picking up as much detail as it should. The Rode approach is completely the opposite. Their microphones sound pure, uncoloured, open, detailed and professional even at their entry levels and the quality only goes up from there.

The NT2 is the next step up, and is great for home recording enthusiasts who want more control out of their microphones, offering cardioid, omni and figure 8 patterns. This allows the user to effectively record and manage spill better and get different sounds out of their set up then is available to most home studio cardioid warriors.

From here the NT1000 picks up where the NT1 left off but with high end circuitry and all around more expensive components. The NT2000 is a world wide phenomenon for getting a ‘want for nothing more’ microphone for a reasonable price. With seamlessly variable pickup configurations and pristine quality sound you’ll capture exactly what you need and can add all the colour you want after the fact.

Ontop of this is the Rode NTR, a brand new Ribbon Mic innovation, NT5, NT55, the world renowned M5, Rode Classic valve mic and more that make an army of high quality studio mics.

Their Video mic Go and Pro are also fast becoming industry leading film audio capturing microphones.
