The E-II Eclipse EverTune represents ESP's Tokyo–built flagship series, engineered for professionals who demand tuning stability across changing temperatures and stage environments. The defining feature is the EverTune constant tension bridge, a fully mechanical system that maintains precise intonation at every fret position and eliminates tuning drift without batteries or electronics. This set–thru neck design combines a mahogany body with a one-piece mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard, featuring 22 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets that resist wear under heavy use.
Seymour Duncan pickups deliver contrasting tonal responses: a Sentient humbucker in the neck position provides wide dynamic range and articulation for clean passages, while the Pegasus bridge humbucker offers aggressive output with harmonic complexity for high-gain applications. Hardware includes Gotoh locking tuners for improved tuning stability during string bends, ESP strap locks, and a graphite nut that reduces friction during tuning adjustments. The Black Satin finish showcases multiple binding across the body, neck, and headstock. A hardshell case protects the instrument during transport.
