This ESP USA Custom Shop V–II FR delivers high–speed aggression and heavyweight tone in a neck–through design that prioritises sustain and stability. Hand–assembled in ESP's American workshop, it pairs traditional flying V lines with a mahogany core and matching body wings, all wrapped in eye–catching Purple Sparkle. Graphite–reinforced three–piece maple construction runs the full 25.5" scale, shaped to an Extra Thin U profile that encourages rapid movement across all 24 frets. The ebony fingerboard carries Jescar stainless XJ frets and Luminlay side dots for visual reference under stage lighting.

EMG 81X and 85X active humbuckers in gold casings supply razor–edged clarity and high–output drive, voiced to cut through dense mixes with articulate definition. Independent volume pots and a three–way selector provide straightforward tonal access, while the Floyd Rose Original floating bridge enables extreme pitch shifts without sacrificing return–to–pitch accuracy. Gotoh Magnum Lock machine heads and an R2 locking top nut anchor string tension at both ends, maintaining stability through aggressive whammy work. This used example arrives in excellent condition with a form–fit hard case and Derringers' Pro–Tech setup: neck relief optimisation, nut and bridge adjustment, intonation calibration, action dialling and pickup balancing.
