Fender American Professional Jazz Bass Rosewood Fingerboard (3-Color Sunburst)

The American Professional Jazz Bass updates Fender's foundational design with refinements aimed squarely at working bassists. This 3-Color Sunburst model pairs a rosewood fingerboard with new V-Mod III single-coil pickups that deliver enhanced articulation while preserving the punch and midrange clarity the Jazz Bass has defined since 1960. The Slim "C" neck features rolled fingerboard edges and a satin finish for fast movement across the register, while a sculpted heel grants easier access to upper frets during runs and chord work.

V-Mod III pickups represent a ground-up redesign of the Jazz Bass voicing, offering improved note definition without sacrificing output or low-end authority. ClassicGear Precision Potentiometers provide consistent taper and custom torque for reliable tone shaping across the entire sweep. The rosewood fingerboard contributes warmth and sustain, complementing the alder body's natural resonance. Hardware includes a 4-saddle HiMass bridge for enhanced sustain and intonation stability, while vintage-style tuners maintain tuning accuracy under stage and studio conditions.
