Fender California Deluxe Monterey E Walnut Fingerboard (Honey Sunburst)

The Fender California Deluxe Monterey E in Honey Sunburst is a folk-style acoustic-electric designed for players who need standout tone and stage-ready electronics in a comfortable body shape. A solid Sitka spruce top sits over laminate mahogany back and sides, reinforced by scalloped X-bracing that opens up the low-end and delivers focused articulation. The walnut fingerboard adds warmth to the tonal response, while sealed-gear split-shaft tuners maintain stable pitch even through extended sessions.

Amplification comes via the integrated Fishman CD-1 preamp system with onboard tuner, giving players full control over their plugged-in sound without external processors. Micarta nut and saddle transfer string energy efficiently across the frequency range, maximising sustain and harmonic clarity. Phosphor bronze strings come fitted from the factory, offering immediate richness and body straight out of the case. The folk body profile sits naturally against the player, encouraging longer practice and writing sessions without fatigue.
