Hand-wound '51 Nocaster pickups deliver the distinctive early Telecaster® twang that defined a generation of country, rock and blues players. This Fender Custom Shop 1951 Telecaster Relic in Super Aged Nocaster Blonde recreates the exact specifications of the transitional year when the Broadcaster became the Telecaster, complete with a carefully aged nitrocellulose finish over a two-piece ash body with offset seam. The Super Heavy Relic treatment replicates decades of playing wear, giving this modern instrument the authenticity of a vintage original.

The one-piece quartersawn flame maple neck features a 1951 "U" back shape that fills the hand with substantial girth, married to a compound 7.25"–12" radius fingerboard with 21 narrow tall frets (6105). A bone nut and three-saddle '51 Nocaster bridge with brass saddles maintain period-correct hardware, while the unique three-position switching system includes a special blend control in the bridge position for expanded tonal options. Vintage-style tuning machines with Fender logo and a single string tree complete the historically accurate hardware package.

The nitrocellulose lacquer finish allows the ash body to breathe and resonate naturally, aging and wearing exactly as the original 1951 models did over time. A one-ply black phenolic pickguard and Nocaster control knobs replicate the transition-era appointments before Fender standardised the Telecaster name. This Custom Shop instrument ships with a deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity documenting its specifications and build details.
