Fender Custom Shop 1963 Jazzmaster Relic Rosewood Fingerboard (Aged Shell Pink)

Nitrocellulose lacquer over a 2-piece select alder body gives this Fender Custom Shop recreation the authentic feel of a Jazzmaster® that's been played hard since 1963. The Relic® treatment from the Time Machine™ series replicates decades of honest wear, right down to the checking and aged hardware. This is an electric guitar built to spec-accurate standards with a quartersawn maple neck, 3A rosewood fingerboard, and the distinctive offset body shape that defined an era. The Aged Shell Pink finish has been distressed to look like it survived countless gigs and studio sessions.

Hand-wound Custom Shop Jazzmaster pickups deliver the bright, articulate tone this model is known for, controlled via 3-position toggle, 2-position lead/rhythm slide switch, and independent master volume and tone controls. The 1965 Strat® “C” back-shape neck profile pairs with a 7.25–9.5" compound radius fingerboard across 21 narrow tall frets. Hardware includes vintage-style tuning machines with period-correct Fender® logos, an RSD Jaguar®/Jazzmaster® bridge, bone nut, and American Vintage '59–'64 string tree. The 3-ply parchment pickguard and vintage wiring complete the period-accurate specification.

The guitar ships with a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity documenting its Custom Shop provenance. Every element—from the nitro finish to the hand-wound pickups—has been selected to match what left the Fullerton factory in 1963, then aged to reflect six decades of playing time. This is a player's instrument that skips the break-in period entirely.
