Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Andy Hicks 1954 Stratocaster Relic (Fiesta Red)

Master Builder Andy Hicks hand-relics this Masterbuilt Limited Edition 1954 Stratocaster® to look and feel like a well-loved original, complete with striking Fiesta Red nitrocellulose lacquer over a 2-piece offset seam ash body. The relic treatment extends across every detail, from the vintage disk string tree to the aged hardware, delivering the full weight of the original '54 design with a 70th Anniversary quartersawn maple neck. This is a faithful recreation of one of the most celebrated years in Stratocaster history, built by Fender® Custom Shop to exacting vintage specifications.

Josefina hand-wound '54 Strat® pickups provide warm, articulate single-coil tone with genuine dynamic range, running through vintage '54–'58 wiring for period-correct response. The 7.25″ to 9.5″ vintage compound radius fingerboard flattens as you move up the 1-piece quartersawn maple neck, making high-fret bending smoother while retaining that classic feel in the lower positions. Twenty-one medium vintage frets and a bone nut deliver the authentic vintage playing experience, while the Custom Shop synchronised tremolo and vintage-style Fender logo tuners hold pitch reliably across hard use.
