Master Builder Jason Smith has hand-aged this Masterbuilt Limited Edition 1954 Stratocaster® with genuine relic detail that captures decades of stage wear at a light Journeyman level. The 2-piece offset seam ash body wears Vintage Blonde nitro lacquer aged to reflect authentic playing history, while the 70th Anniversary quartersawn maple neck and matching fingerboard echo the original '54 specification. This is a faithful recreation of the earliest Strat® blueprint, built with Custom Shop precision and hand-finished to evoke the golden era of electric guitar design.

Josefina hand-wound '54 Strat® pickups deliver the glassy, dynamic single-coil chime that defined the mid-1950s, wired in the vintage '54–'58 configuration for period-correct tone and response. The 7.25″ to 9.5″ vintage compound radius fingerboard transitions from comfortable open chord positions to easier high-register playing, fitted with 21 medium vintage frets and a bone nut. A Custom Shop synchronised tremolo bridge and vintage-style tuners bearing the Fender® logo maintain tuning stability through aggressive bends and vibrato work, while the compound neck profile sits comfortably across every playing position.
