Fender Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass Rosewood Fingerboard (Dusk)

The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass® brings active electronics and contemporary playability upgrades to Fender's classic dual-pickup bass platform. Aimed squarely at modern players who need tonal flexibility and low-noise operation, this Dusk-finished model pairs Player II Noiseless™ Jazz Bass® pickups with an all-new active preamp offering independent treble, midrange, and bass controls alongside a passive tone knob and active/passive toggle. The alder body retains traditional Jazz Bass® punch, while the Modern “C” neck profile and 9.5” radius rosewood fingerboard with rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets prioritise speed and comfort across the 34” scale length.

The dual noiseless pickups route through a pan pot selector, feeding either the active EQ section or a passive tone circuit via mini toggle. Hardware includes a 4-saddle HiMass™ bridge with chrome-plated zinc saddles for enhanced sustain, tapered-shaft open-gear tuners, and a TUSQ® nut at the 1.5” width. The 4-ply white pearloid pickguard and black pickup covers sit beneath Fender® USA 7250M nickel-plated steel strings gauged .045–.105. Satin urethane coats the maple neck back, while the body wears gloss polyester in Dusk. A deluxe gig bag ships with the instrument.
