The Seymour Duncan Slash LLT 2.0 Neck Humbucker delivers the hotter output Slash demanded after years of global touring with Guns N' Roses and The Conspirators. Based on his beloved APH-2 signature pickup but rewound for increased drive and compression, this neck position humbucker maintains the clarity and tonal character that defined his recorded tone while pushing amplifiers harder in live settings. Hand-built in Santa Barbara using traditional methods from the 1980s, this nickel-finished humbucker features modern Short Ear mounting legs and four-conductor wiring.
The neck position measures 8.8k DC resistance and uses rough-cast Alnico 2 magnets to preserve the warm, expressive voice Slash requires. Four-conductor cable enables coil splitting, series/parallel configurations, and phase switching options beyond the original single-conductor design. Construction mirrors vintage specifications with a nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, paper tape, and wax potting for noise-free operation. Short Ear mounting legs accommodate direct installation across a wider range of guitar routes than traditional long-leg designs. Each pickup is made to order in the USA with an approximate three to four week lead time.
