The Seymour Duncan Slash LLT 2.0 Neck Humbucker delivers the hotter wind Slash demanded after years of touring with Guns N' Roses and The Conspirators. Based on his signature APH-2 design but rewound for increased output, this passive humbucker maintains the clarity and tonal character of the original while pushing amplifiers harder with enhanced volume, drive, and compression. The neck position pickup measures 8.8k DCR and uses an Alnico 2 rough cast magnet, hand-built in Santa Barbara with the same techniques Seymour Duncan employed in the 1980s.
This modern–spec version features short ear mounting legs for broader guitar compatibility and direct mounting, paired with 4-conductor cable that enables coil splitting, series/parallel wiring, and phase switching. Construction includes a nickel silver bottom plate, single conductor braided lead wire, maple spacer, paper tape, and wax potting for noise suppression. The reverse zebra appearance combines black and cream bobbins. As a Longer Lead Time model, each pickup is made to order with approximately 3–4 weeks added to standard delivery times.
