The Seymour Duncan Slash LLT APH-2 Humbucker Set delivers the sustain, crunch, and midrange tone that defined Guns N' Roses' Appetite for Destruction and decades of rock recordings. Developed in collaboration with Slash to recreate the sound of his original Derrig Les Paul copy, this set uses Alnico 2 bar magnets with a specific mag wire and winding spec that pushes Gibson Les Pauls toward that familiar roar. This gold–covered set features modern appointments including short ear mounting legs and four–conductor cable.

The neck pickup measures 8.3k DCR while the bridge sits at 8.9k, hand–built in Santa Barbara using the same construction methods from the 1980s. Each humbucker includes a nickel silver bottom plate, maple spacer, paper tape, and wax potting for noise–free performance. The four–conductor wiring enables coil splitting, series/parallel configurations, and phase switching across a wide range of guitars. Short ear mounting legs allow direct installation without adapter rings. These pickups are pulled from the same production stock that Slash's guitar tech Ace Bergman uses.

The LLT designation indicates these pickups are made to order, adding approximately three to four weeks to standard delivery times. Every set replicates the exact specifications Slash uses on stage and in the studio, ensuring authentic AFD–era tone without requiring vintage–spec guitars.
