Taylor's 814ce Next Generation Ltd Edition is a Grand Auditorium acoustic built for players who demand responsiveness and tonal clarity across studio and stage settings. The Casablanca Beige Metallic finish distinguishes this limited run, while the core appeal lies in Taylor's refinement of bracing patterns and wood selection that prioritise sustain and articulation without sacrificing warmth.

The guitar pairs Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top, delivering defined mids and clear highs typical of Taylor's house sound. Electronics include a Taylor Expression System 2 pickup with volume and tone controls, allowing direct connection to PA or interface without feedback issues. Grand Auditorium dimensions (20 inches wide, 4.75 inches deep) sit between dreadnought projection and concert intimacy, suiting fingerstyle, fingerpicking, and strumming equally. The neck features a 25.5–inch scale with 1.69–inch nut width, standard for comfort across hand sizes.
